Strategies Adapted For Patient-Oriented Care And Satisfaction During The Covid-19 Pandemic: An Overview
Abstract
Covid19 has irreversibly altered the practitioner way of practicing medicine. To gain a better understanding of this new infectious disease, physicians and the healthcare system must focus and adapt a new strategies for organization of inpatient care, administrative worklaods, and compensation structure. Communication, Coordination of care and access, responsiveness, and cooperation are four critical areas in which patients encounter health care system adaptation strategies. This requires special attention. Therefore what strategies to be followed for patient-oriented care and satisfaction during the covid-19 pandemic. During this pandemic, the physical boundaries created by safety equipments hinder the direct hand-on-practice and personal attention on the patient. Through the use of telemedicine, this outbreak teaches doctors and patients how to interact with one another. Weekly introductory webinars on pandemics help to smooth the interaction process by teaching how to adjust relationships, communication skills and new workplace restrictions. To ensure effective post-visit care, we need to discovercreative ways to switch between virtual and face-to-face operations.
