Abstract

BACKGROUND:

The IHD is the leading cause of death and suffering worldwide, and has been around for decades, however with a wide variety of regions. While the number of people with IHD continues to increase exponentially, age adjustment rates are declining. It is clinically indicated as myocardial infarction and ischemic cardiomyopathy, and is also known as coronary artery disease (CAD) and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ACD). Hypoalbuminemia has been linked to high mortality and morbidity in patients with stroke.

MATERIAL AND METHOD:

In this analysis, a prospective study was used. Patients with an ischemic stroke who were admitted between September 2019 and August 2020, regardless of age, stroke aetiology, or concomitant conditions, were eligible for this study. In our study, 125 (55.8%) of the 300 instances of ischemic stroke were between the ages of 20 and 50, while 175 (90.9%) were between the ages of 51 and 70.

RESULTS:

A total of 115 people had a serum albumin level of less than 30 g / l (40.6 percent). Compared with patients with normoalbuminemia, hypoalbuminemia patients were older and less likely to smoke. At admission, hypoalbuminemia patients showed extreme fasting glucose, leukocyte count, albumin, globulin level, and body temperature, as well as total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol.

CONCLUSION:

The study demonstrates the significance of albumin levels in the treatment of stroke patients. Hypoalbuminemia has been shown to be more common in ischemic stroke patients in our study. Extensive research at national and regional levels is also needed to assess the value of hypoalbuminemia in a wide range of populations. In addition, the government should provide resources to educate the public on the importance of hypoalbuminemia and to take steps to correct it.
