Abstract

Introduction: Phobia is described as a sort of fear or nervousness influenced by any person or article, and the sort of medication and process a person has to go through to overcome, also plays a major role among many individuals.

Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 100 dental students. A questionnaire was prepared about the reason and cause behind the phobia. And this was distributed via google forms and later the data was collected and analyzed using SPSS.

Results: From the result, it can be statistically analyzed that most of the students were aged between 18 and 22. The dental students weren't hydrophobic.

Conclusion: We can conclude that this phobia is experienced by individuals to various certain extents and that any fear can be easily overcome by sharing with family and friends rather than using medication.
