A Case Report On Diagnostic Outcome And Management Of VSD With Inguinal And Umbilical Hernia

Abstract

In a patient with Ventricular Septal Defect with Inguinal and Umbilical Hernia is a common or insidious. VSD is an abnormal opening in the Septal between right and left ventricle.  it is the most common cyanotic congenital defect . It is approximately 25% of all CHD. Inguinal and Umbilical Hernia is a common problem in infants and children requiring surgical repair. Patients History :-A 4 month female child k/c/o VSD with Inguinal and Umbilical Hernia  come to the AVBRH  Sawangi  (M) Wardha on dated 10/02/2021 with chief complaint of cough and cold  since 7days.  patient having no any other complaint like breathlessness .

 Medical Management :- Patient treated with oxygen therapy , antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs ,diuretics and required surgery. Nursing Management :- Administered fluid replacement i.e RL, oxygen therapy , nebulizer , monitor vital sign hourly .Conclusion :-Timely treatment and management of VSD with inguinal and Umbilical Hernia.
