Abstract

When it comes to industrial robots and CNC machine tools, position performance is one of the most important criteria to consider. Because these performance requirements fluctuate throughout machine operation, it is essential to monitor device characteristics frequently to ensure accuracy. Furthermore, the measuring process should be as quick and straightforward as feasible for the user. For this reason, the Renishaw Ballbar device is frequently employed in the context of CNC machine tool applications. This device meets both of these needs; however, it does not provide the same amount of helpful information for CNC machine tools and industrial robots, which require a distinct measurement and data processing method, which is the primary focus of the study.
