Abstract

Because it is feasible, effective and safe in clinical settings, and involves the administration of bioactive pharmacological agents during or before reperfusion Pharmacological postconditioning (pPoCo), it appears to be a more pragmatic and promising alternative to postconditioning. There are several ways to protect your brain after an ischemic insult. One of them is called pPoCo. Pharmacological postconditioning mechanisms were investigated in order to identify the pharmacological targets involved in neuroprotection in the current investigation.
