Abstract

An important unit technique in manufacturing pharmaceutical dosage forms is granulation, which involves increasing particle size via agglomeration techniques. The granulation process turns fine powders into free-flowing, dust-free granules that are easy to compact. There is a new technique called theroplastic granulation, which incorporates both dry and wet granulation benefits. To achieve this, it has been devised a unique granulation technique that mixes and agglomerates pharmaceutical powders to produce homogenous granules suited for the manufacture of attractive solid dosage forms. We'll be focusing on numerous types of granulation techniques in this technique.
