Abstract

For drug delivery and development, nanotechnology is the most promising notion. In the future, nanomedicines may help both physicians and patients treat a variety of diseases. However, extensive toxicological research must be conducted before these products can be considered beneficial for patients. To ensure that nanomedicine is at the forefront of the next generation of biomedical innovation, it is vital that the scientific and regulatory gaps be closed as research into nanomedicines, their efficacy, and associated safety issues continues.
