Case Report on Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Abstract
Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) are a diverse category of lymphoproliferative diseases that arise from B-, T-, or natural killer T-cells. At the time of presentation, they exhibit a wide variety of histological and clinical characteristics, making diagnosis problematic.
Clinical findings: A 17 years old Patients arrived with chest pain in the last four days, nodules in the left side neck region, dyspnea for two days, and cough in the previous month.
Diagnostic Evaluation :- Blood test:- Total WBC Cont-11400/cu mm, Hb -12.9%, Total RBC Count -4.1million/cu mm, RDW-14.7%, HCT-39.7%, Total WBC Cont-11400/cu mm Monocytes 3%, Granulocytes 85%, and Lymphocytes for 10%. ALT (SGPT) - 183 U/L, AST (SGOT) - 96 U/L
Therapeutic Intervention :- Piptaz 4. 5 gm IV TDS, Levoflox 500 mg IV OD, Pan 40 mg IV OD, Emset 4 mg IV TDS, Tab. Prednisolone 50 mg BD, Syp. Cheston with 2 tsp TDS.
Conclusion:- My patient was admitted to Male Medicine Ward At AVBRH, he was diagnosed with Non-Lymphoma Hodgkin's and complained of chest pain, nodules in the left side of his neck, dyspnea, and cough. After treatment his health was improved.
