Abstract

A range of complications have been reported during and post Covid-19 infection. A recent trend has been seen where there is a rapid increase in the cases of sporadic fungal infections, in particular paranasal sinus and orbital mucormycosis in patients who have had Covid-19 recently. This is more commonly encountered in immunocompromised patients and particularly patients with Diabetes Mellitus. We report such cases that have presented with a Covid-19 disease with paranasal sinus fungal sinusitis with orbital extension.
