The Effect of an Educational Curriculum Based on Rapid Learning in Developing Some Offensive Skills for Junior Basketball Players

Abstract

            The purpose of this paper is to preparing an educational curriculum using accelerated learning, and Identifying the effect of the educational curriculum using rapid learning in developing some offensive skills for young basketball players. The researchers used the experimental method by designing two equal groups (experimental and control) with pre and post-tests to suit the nature of the research problem.The research community was determined by basketball players in the holy province of Kerbala for the junior category aged (12-13) years, who numbered (30) players, and (24) players were selected to represent the main research sample and they were divided equally into two experimental and control groups, each group comprising (12) players from The research community, and then the educational curriculum was prepared and post-tests were conducted, and then the educational curriculum was applied and tribal tests were conducted in the research variables. The appropriate statistical methods were used and under the results obtained by the researcher, he reached the most important conclusions use the exercises used effectively affects the development and offensive skills of basketball, and The exercises used in the accelerated learning curriculum helped to shorten time and effort, as well as to save money on the tools used in learning.Under the conclusions obtained by the researchers, recommends necessity of introducing the exercises used in the curriculum for rapid learning in the educational and training units of basketball for the purpose of developing the level of players and improving their skill performance, and necessity of introducing the exercises used in the curriculum for rapid learning in training players, in order to shorten the time as well as to save money on the tools used.
